Bedroom Accent Wall: Tab-Lap Pine Panel Installation

For this project, I installed tab-lap pine boards to create a custom wood accent wall behind the bed. The goal was to introduce natural warmth and visual texture while maintaining a clean, modern look that complements the room’s neutral tones.

The installation required precise wall preparation, adjustments around electrical outlets, and custom cuts for a window opening later installed by another contractor. Each board was measured and fitted for consistent alignment, with staggered seams to emphasize the horizontal lines and natural variation in the wood grain.

The finished wall adds depth and character to the bedroom, balancing rustic charm with a contemporary, minimalist feel.
